Real Racing for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad

As of late I have been terribly distracted by one of the best games for the iPhone I have ever played.  Real Racing 2 by Firemint has taken my free time by storm.

I first got the game when it was on sale in the App Store at the suggestion of my brother-in-law.  We were on vacation and wanted some real competition.  We had a few concerns at first.  Neither of us have the latest versions of Apple's iPhone or iPod Touch.  I am using a 3GS and he an iPod Touch 2nd generation.  I checked the forums about the game and was pleased to learn that the game scales the graphics down for the older machines.  Being a PC game lover I would expect this on my computer but for an iPhone game it was too good to be true.  We downloaded the game and quickly got to racing each other on the online multi-player servers.  It wasn't hard to find out that the others racing on the track had spent a lot more time on the track and collecting cars than we had but we weren't racing them we were racing each other.

I would have never expected the ease of use and the breath-taking graphics to ever appear on a hand held system but those days have arrived and they are awesome!
